READ | On September 12-14, 2022, the municipal government of Solsona conducts its Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) Formulation at Subic Grand Harbour Hotel, Subic Freeport Zone, Zambales.

Through the heightened efforts of Municipal Mayor Joseph E. de Lara, Municipal Vice-Mayor Jonathan L. de Lara, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, MLGOO Ms. Mely Bas-Angen, Engr. Leizel Bermejo, OIC-Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, department heads and division chiefs, school heads, Solsona-MPS headed by PCPT. Belen G. Baoit, BFP-Solsona represented by Ms. Aileen Matias, the visions and strategic plans presented during the said event were being discussed and finalized comprehensively for CY 2023-2025.

This is in accordance to Section 106 of the Local Government Code of 1991 which mandates the Local Government to craft a comprehensive multi-sectoral plan that will serve as a guide in carrying out priority projects to the different sectors of this municipality.

ELA is a term-based (3-year) plan or document derived from the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) which contains the major development thrusts and priorities of both the executive and the legislative branches for the three year term of office.

The ELA is mutually developed and agreed upon by the executive and legislative departments of the LGU in consultation with the various stakeholders. [A]
The Municipality of Solsona launches its 1st Mayors Cup Basketball Tournament with the theme: ” Basketball laban sa Illegal na droga”, last September 17, 2022, at Federico F. de Lara Civic Center.

The 1st Mayor’s Cup Basketball Tournament was spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Hon. Joseph E. de Lara, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Jonathan L. de Lara, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Members, Hon. Benigno Aquino, Hon. Marvin Pascua, Hon. Norberto Agulay, PLTCOL. Randy Baoit is duly represented by the Acting Provincial Director PCOL Julius Suriben, Solsona-MPS headed by PCPT. Belen G. Baoit, Pastor Larry Villa, Barangay Officials and Participating Teams.

Through this sport event, the community especially the youth and other sports enthusiasts are spared from getting involved in illegal drugs and other vices as they engage themselves in sports.
